How to bypass the Windows Vista log on screen on multiaccount computer

This article is about to make an automatic log on to a prefered account in Windows Vista where more than one user accounts are enabled. Using the trick provides here we can by pass the welcome screen where all present user accounts shown. The advantages for hiding the log-on screen on your computer are:

1. If you are the single user of the computer you can avoid the un-necessary delay to log on.

2. Prevent the details of other user accounts from an ordinary user(Depends on the configuration of user privilege and settings)



Steps to avoid log-on screen in Vista computer




To avoid the log on screen in Windows Vista computer follow the steps below.

1. Click on Windows Logo and click on search

2. On search type cmd and press enter

3. On the command prompt page type control userpasswords2 and press Enter.

4. Now the User Accounts screen will appear and select the user account which want to be the default (automatic).

5. Uncheck the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer on the selected user account

6. After clicking OK , Automatically Log On dialog box will appear.

7. Type in the password for the account that you want to log on automatically in the selected user account.

From now on, you'll automatically log in using that account. When ever we want to change the account we can shift to to different account using Switch User.
