How to disable MAC built in Firewall

Like Windows Operating system MAC systems too have a built in firewall. Some times this firewall block the wireless or Internet connection to your system. In that condition we need to disable MAC built in firewall to allow Internet connection to your computer. The steps to disable built in MAC firewall in your MAC system are:


Steps to disable built in MAC Firewall

To disable MAC firewall follow the steps below.

1. Click on Apple menu

2. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu

3. Click on Sharing from System Preferences

4. Click on Firewall

Under Firewall we can see the status button of the Firewall. If the Firewall is active on your system we can see the button "Stop".
If the Firewall is disabled on your MAC system the button will be "Start".


Click on Stop to disable the built in MAC firewall on your system.
