How to install Safari on Ubuntu Linux

We cannot install Safari on Ubuntu as simple as Firefox on it. The reason is till now Safari browser has no linux version. Apple has published Safari for MAC as well as Windows but not yet for Linux. Till now for Linux users the only option to install Safari in our computer by the use of Wine only. You may feel desperate for this suggestion but as long as there is no Safari for Linux, it is the only option. The steps to install Safari on Ubuntu Linux using Wine are:


Install Safari With Wine

1. Make sure that Wine is already installed on your computer. It should be configured for Windows XP version.

2. Download Safari

You can download Safari browser form the link given below.

http://www.apple.com/safari/download/


3. Right click on SafariSetup.exe

Steps to install Safari browser in Ubuntu linux
Now select the option - Open with "Wine Windows Program Loader" -

Now the installer window will appear. click next to start installation and follow the on screen instructions.

I still don't understand why Apple is not releasing a proper safari for Linux. They have safari for Windows but not for Linux aah

linux are enemy for mac. that's why, they didn't do the safari browser for linux.
