Prons and cons of Samsung N128

This mini Laptop works pretty good than my expectation. First I failed to find wifi adapter driver compatible with Windows 7 as the CD came with Windows XP driver. But this is available in Internet and I downloaded it. Another negative thing I need to point out is the speaker volume. The speaker they use is 1.5 watts Speaker. The volume is very low and I need to use headset to hear the sound properly.
Another point I need to say is about the battery backup. The reseller promised me about 8 hour battery backup but I experience only 6 hours. Beside this speaker volume issue ,I am satisfied with Samsung N 128 netbook.

Can I save Yahoo mail Chat session in Yahoo Chat History

How can I save yahoo mail chat session for future reference ?

This was the question asked by my colleague after having a long chat session with his manager in yahoo mail. What exactly happened was both are friends in Yahoo messenger and when my friend open his yahoo mail for checking his emails his manager started chat from his home about the issues found in his project. He gave many suggestions in the same chat and my friend said yes to all. Now the problem comes ,when he tried to save the chat session as in gmail chat session (normal: we all are fans of gmail chat), there is no option to save. There is nothing like chat history in Yahoo mail. He need the session for future reference and he copied all the chat session to a word document.

OK ,yahoo seems not interested in providing the feature to save chat sessions in yahoo mail as gmail offers. But we can see one similar option to save the chat session in yahoo mail. To do this we need to convert the chat to a mail and forward it to the users email address. On the right hand top of the chat window we can see two symbols as shown below. To convert the chat session to email we need to click on the email button.

How to save yahoo mail chat session as in gmail chat

Now the entire yahoo email chat session will be converted to an email session and we can send it to any addresses. So by doing this method we can save the yahoo email chat session for future reference.

Printer driver conflicts and Google Chrome Operating System

The first Operating System (Google Chrome OS) from Google is not yet released but it is one of the hot topic in technical world. As every new operating system, Google chrome too faces the device driver issues. To get the optimum performance of a device or avoiding device conflict we need to install correct driver for peripheral devices. It is one of the hardest issues when every release of operating systems faces. To get a proper driver for new OS releases we may need to wait few months after the release of OS. Google Chrome too not an exception.

BTW google has a different plan for this issue. Let us hear what Linus Upson, engineering director for the Chrome browser and Chrome OS, says about it.

" We want to get out of the business of printer drivers. All the problems related to drivers we want to go away "

Why he is saying only about printer drivers ? What about other devices ? He adds the following sentence too.

" The good news is that for most input devices today, there are basic standards that allow them to operate without needing a specific drive for each device "

So the major driver issues are with printing devices only. So Google plans to do something different and not going to practice the traditional methods. Nobody has any idea which technology is going to be implemented. So we all need to wait until the release of Google Chrome OS and it is expected in 2010.
