Where to read Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger Log Files

Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger is a built in debugger program in Windows and is used to collect information regarding software errors or bugs in your computer. It keeps a log file which stores all software errors happen in your computer and send it to Microsoft. Log file crated by Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger records all kinds of software errors that occur in your computer. To read this log file you may navigate to following location in your computer.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson


Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger Log File is saved in the name drwtsn32 and can open in a notepad. This log file contains Application exception occurred , System Information , Task List etc

We can change the log file path of Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger by accessing the Dr Watson window. To access Dr Watson Window follow the steps below.


1. Click Start,and go to Run.

2. Type drwtsn32 on Run and press OK.
