Government of India Declared new standard symbol for Indian Rupee. New Symbol is:

At last India Government decide to set a Standard Symbol for Indian Rupee. As per the latest news 5 designs have been shortlisted. Most probably the new Indian currency symbol will be from one the five symbols shortlisted. The new symbol for Indian Rupee should show the culture and the economic growth of India plus some thing easy to remember and write, that's what my wish. Anyway the short listed symbols are shown below.
