Yesterday I faced a strange issue in my computer. I was not able to close the Firefox browser opened in my computer. I click on the close button of the Firefox window but it is not working. After some time it closed and then the next issue came. I couldn't open Firefox browser in my computer. I double click on the Firefox icon but it is not opening and get an error message saying "another instance of Firefox is already running". When I check the current running processes in Task Manager, I found an active Firefox process. So the problem is already a Firefox process is working and so it is not allowing me to open a new one. So after I killed that Firefox process, I could open a new Firefox window without any issues.
