Deactivate and Get Refund For Automatic BSNL Value Added Services

Yesterday night while reading a book, I received an SMS alert from BSNL on my Phone and the message said the Value Added Service Full Songs was activated for seven days with the cost of 49 Rupees. While checking balance, BSNL cut 49 Rupees for this automatically activated Value Added Service. Actually, I do not even know this FullSongs Service and what this service do. The exact message I received is "Thanks for Subscribing to FullSongs (56060) Service. You have been charged RS 49.0 for 7 days. To Unsub send SMS STOP or call 155223 (tollfree) ". The irony is that I never subscribed for this FullSongs Value Added Service but BSNL had activated it from their end and cut 49 rupees from my balance without my permission. In fact I never wanted any Value Added Service from BSNL but they activated this unnecessary FullSongs service without my knowledge. I send STOP to 155223 immediately and called the same number and followed the IVR menu to confirm the cancellation of FullSongs service and to ask for a refund.


My Experience With BSNL Customer Care

The executive who took my call was initially reluctant to admit the issue and he claimed I only activated this FullSongs Value Added Service. After a few minutes conversation he admitted that it was not the first time he faced this issue and he received many complaints about automatic activation of BSNL Value Added Services. He told me he could understand my feelings but BSNL did not allow him to issue a refund for this automatic FullSongs service activation. When I inquired the steps to get refund for this unwanted FullSongs service activation, he told me the only way to get a refund for cancelled Value Added Services is to contact local BSNL customer Support Center. He also told what I did (cancelled the Fullsongs immediately ) is right as this type of Value Added Service would be renewed in every month automatically and the cost will be automatically deducted from the main balance.

Check Whether Any Value Added Service is Active

If any of the BSNL subscriber is facing automatic deduction in their main balance, the first thing to check is whether any Value Added Service (VAS) is activated in your account. If any such VAS is active, every month you will be suffer a loss in your main balance. If FullSongs Service is activated in your account, RS 49 will be deducted from your Mobile balance every week. To check which all Value Added Services are active, you must send STOP to 155223 from your number. The steps are:

  1. Type “STOP” and send it to 155223

  2. Now you will receive a message like below which lists all active Value Added Services in your account.

    0.To Deactivate All. To Unsubscribe please reply with the

Village Field Assistant in Kerala Revenue (288/2016) Examination

PSC has notified examination for the post Village Field Assistant in Kerala Revenue Department. Category number of the notification is 288/2016. According to this notification, anyone who has passed 7th Standard and having cycling skill can apply. There is no ineligibility for those having higher education standards to apply for Village Field Assistant. So, those who passed SSLC, Degree etc can apply. Village Field Assistant is the new name given to the post Village Man in Kerala Revenue Department and is one of the few posts where PSC conducts direct recruitment to Revenue department. Public Service Commission conducts different examinations for each districts and there will be different question papers and cut off marks. Anyone who apply for Village Field Assistant can apply to only one district. Right now, only anticipatory vacancies are reported. So we do not know the exact number of vacancies in each districts. According to High Court verdict in 2006, women too can apply to Village Field Assistant post.


Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must have passed at least 7th Standard and must know cycling. His /her age must be between 18 and 36. That means the date of birth must be between 02-01-1980 and 01-01-1998 including both dates. For OBC , SC and ST categories, the upper age limit is 39 and 42 respectively. Both men and women are eligible to apply for Village Field Assistant. There is no restriction on those having higher education qualifications.

PSC conducts OMR based objective type examination for Village Field Assistant post. There will be 100 questions in the question booklet. Date of examination is not yet published. Our Trip Experience

Before picking Vazhvanthol, we spent enough time to search for best wild life areas and waterfalls in Thiruvananthapuram. After considering the huge crowd, we strike out popular spots and chose the less explored Vazhvanthol waterfalls.

We were a team of 15 members lead by Vino and Siju George Kureekkattu, who are experienced wild life tourists, started our journey from Trivandrum central at 11:30 AM.

We reached Kanithadam check post with in 90 minutes travel. We knew, it was a forest area and no shops and hotels available. So we had food and water as parcel. After spending a little time with local tribal people and visiting their worship place, we continued our walking through jungle to Vazhvanthol waterfalls.
As we expected the route is adventurous and took more time to cover 2.2 KM than usual.

  • Do not forget to bring Food and Water since there is no shops available

  • Do not carry plastic bags

  • Do not disturb wildlife

Kerala PSC has announced the recruitment for Lower Division Clerk / Assistant grade 2 in Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board. Total number of vacancies reported till now is 19 and it is a State wide direct recruitment. LD Clerk in Kerala Government Department Exam 414/2016 Date & Syllabus

Getting a government job in India is a dream of millions of educated youth. Getting a group A service is a bit difficult and needs a lot of time for preparation and hard work. For those who have passed SSLC (10 th standard), the best choice to enter government service is LDC. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) exam by Kerala PSC opens door for thousands of youth to Kerala Government service. Right now everyone is eagerly waiting for the Kerala LDC 2016 exam notification. LDC is a group C service which allows a person to work in his district. In most cases he will get the chance to work near his home. It is because Kerala LDC exam is a district wise examination. Kerala PSC has invited applications for LDC in various Kerala Government Departments for those having minimum SSLC or equivalent qualification. Eligibility Criteria For Kerala LDC Exam 2016

SSLC or equivalent is the educational eligibility criteria for Kerala LDC. For those who have not this minimum qualification cannot attend the examination. Minimum and maximum age limit for general category is 18 and 36 respectively. For OBC, those who are up to 39 years old can attend the exam. It is an OMR based examination which includes 100 objective type questions. Examination is for 75 minutes. The medium of Kerala LDC test is Malayalam. One correct answer will get one mark but for the wrong answer you will get negative marks. 0.33 marks will be deducted for every wrong answers you mark. RRB 2016 Exam Syllabus and Mark Distribution

This section is for serious candidates who are looking for the syllabus and mark distribution from each modules. The entire syllabus is divided in to four categories. They are

There will be 100 questions in the exam having 90 minutes duration. You can expect 20 questions from General Knowledge and 25 questions form Arithmetic Ability. How to prepare model for 3D printing


We all know that 3D printing is either here or at least just around the corner. But there’s more to 3D printing a model than just slapping some meshes together and calling it a day. You have to prepare your model to be 3D-printing ready, and we are going to tell you how to do it.

The first step ideally happens even before you open your 3D modeling software. You should consider the material you are going to print it in, as well as the technology used for the printing. Can you have interlocking parts? Do you need escape holes for support material? Can the material and the process support all the shapes and the level of sharpness that you need? You must think about it before you model, and check out the printing and material guides online. 3D printing vendors want you to succeed and usually provide clear and exhaustive detail on what certain materials and methods can or can’t do.

While modeling, you should also consider the center of gravity, because you don’t want your model to topple over or require supports. You should also be mindful of any small and intricate details - materials and printing processes have their limitations and some of those limitations affect the level of detail.

Think about the size of the object. Printers have their minimum and maximum bounding boxes, and those have to be taken in consideration. Certain materials have issues, too, as they shrink during the production. Design with these tolerances in mind. Or, if it’s too late for that, fix it in your software.

You should also make sure that all the shells, all the parts of your model connect. 3D printing companies are more than ready to charge you for the amount of parts on your model, so make sure that turrets stay on the tanks (or are connected to it by the sprue), hair connects seamlessly to the cat and so on.

You might also want to check your model for any ngons - anything with over 4 sides or 4 vertices is considered an ngon. Those should be corrected and reduced to quads and triangles, as printing software finds those more palatable.

Now that you have a model, you should take care of its thickness - which is important in software that’s not primarily designed for 3D printing. Blender, Maya and others make models with walls so thin as to be unprintable. Now, it wouldn’t really matter that much if you were printing the object as a lump. The tricky part is that you want to hollow out your out because many 3D printing companies price it on mass. Holes are needed for the support material to pour out and save you money. And that’s why you suddenly need thicker inner walls. Luckily for you, your software usually has tools which can increase thickness automatically, with variable result

While you’re at it, check out for any stray faces created in the geometry while you were applying thickness to the model. However, automatic thickness might not provide all of the thickness that your material or printing process requires, so you have to charge in once more, making suspect parts thicker. The good thing is that some websites like Shapeways let you upload the model and then they show you any possible issues with wall thickness or loose shells (not with holes, though - they have no way of distinguishing a hole that’s been designed from a hole that’s random).

The last and the easiest step is making sure you export the model in the right format. It all depends on the printing software in use by you or your printing vendor. Again, this information isn’t hard to find and modeling softwares usually have many options for export.

Reason & Solution For Hard Disk SMART Command Failed Error

Yesterday night I encountered a strange error on my computer. I couldn't boot my computer properly and instead of OS window I was stuck in an error page, Hard Disk SMART Command Failed. Other than Tab key, no other keys were working.It was a confusing situation because whenever I reboot my PC, I was going back to the same error page like I was in a loop. I started counting the possible reasons for this particular warning and the major possibilities came in to my mind were :
  1. Hard disk drive (HDD) failure
  2. BIOS / Mother board issue
On the error page I was getting an alert like press [Del] to enter BIOS. But Delete button was not working because it was not responding due to the error. So I decided to follow my way of troubleshooting and started with Hard Disk Drive. I opened the cabinet and disconnect power cable and Bus (cable which connects motherboard and peripheral devices) from the HDD. After reconnecting them, my computer started work again and no more failure messages. I was wondering whether I fixed the error Hard Disk SMART Command Failed on my computer or it was just a workaround. So I decided to spent time to research about this issue.


Reasons for Hard Disk S.M.A.R.T Command Failed Error

The main reason for this failure message is HDD failure and when the SMART BIOS feature detects this issue we will see this failure message. SMART stands for Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology for monitoring the Hard Disk Drive for any kind of malfunctioning. If S.M.A.R.T detect any problems with it,  it will return the failure message.

Solutions for Hard Disk SMART Command Failed Error Message

The permanent solution for this error message is to replace your hard disk with a new one. But there are some other workarounds for this error. They are:

  1. Disable S.M.A.R.T feature in BIOS

    It will avoid the chance of detecting the computer HDD failures and you will not get any more SMART error message. We know it is not a perfect solution for long term.

  2. Disconnect the power and Bus to hard disk and reconnect

  3. Regular Hard Disk recovery methods

    It is recommended to perform any kind of HDD recovery steps like de-fragmentation for fixing the errors of your computer disk.
In my case I just followed the second workaround by disconnecting both BUS and Power cable from HDD and reconnect. It looks a little dirty if you are not cleaning your PC frequently but it outsmarts other two solutions.

However, it is possible that you might have entered wrong details while adding the beneficiary details. SBI allows users to either modify or delete a beneficiary if the user find the details incorrect. This article explains how to modify or delete beneficiary on SBI account within few minutes. The same procedure can be followed if you are seeing you have reached the maximum number of beneficiaries in your account while adding a new one.

Step By Step Instructions To Delete Beneficiary in HDFC Bank

Steps to Add a Beneficiary in State Bank Net-banking Account

  1. Visit the SBI Netbanking login Link and enter netbank username and password.

  3. Click on Manage Beneficiary


  4. You will be asked to enter profile password to proceed


  5. Now you should select the beneficiary category from the list. It is important to note that there is certain restrictions while adding beneficiary in SBI account. You can add only one account per day in each category.


    There are different category for different functions.


    • Intra Bank Beneficiary : If you are planing to add a person who is having account on State Bank of India, you should choose this category.

    • Inter Bank Beneficiary : If you want to Send RTGS of NEFT to an other bank account holder, for example ICICI bank or Canara Bank, you should click on this category to add him as beneficiary.

    • State Bank Group Beneficiary : In the same way if you are adding a person having account on any associated banks of State Bank of India like State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore or State Bank of Trvancore, you can use this category.

  6. Click on Add button to add a beneficiary account


  7. While Adding beneficiary, you can set the maximum limit of amount that can be transferred in one transaction. If you want to change the maximum limit, you must click view button next to Add button.


How to Delete a Beneficiary Account From SBI Netbanking

  1. To remove a particular beneficiary from State Bank of India netbaking account, you should follow the steps from 1 to 5 and then click on Delete button.


  2. Select the Account you want to remove and click on 'Show Details' button

  3. Click on delete button


  4. You will be asked to confirm the deletion


    Click OK to proceed.

Step to Modify SBI Inter-Bank Beneficiary

  1. Follow Steps 1 to 5 and click on Modify button.

  2. Now you can view all the beneficiaries added in your account. Select the one you want to edit and click 'Show Details' button.

This article does not count the after effects of demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes and recent Reserve Bank's instructions to limit the transactions using Jan Dhan accounts opened. There are restrictions over the amount which can be deposited in Jan Dhan accounts after 8 November 2016 on war against legalising black money in India using those accounts. One of the easiest way adopted by black money holders to legalise their black money was to deposit unaccounted money (old 500 and 1000 notes) to Jan Dhan accounts and withdraw in the form of new currency notes. This movement forced Reserve Bank to strictly monitor the Jan Dhan accounts transactions . In addition to this, there is a restriction over daily withdrawal (not online transaction) in the form of currency to limit the possibility of exchanging old 500 and 1000 Rupee notes with new currency notes.

How to Fix ROM-0 vulnerability

The perfect solution is to replace your obsolete device with a latest model. However, if you are not in a position to spend money for it, you can try following solutions.

  1. Update your Router's firmware with the latest available version.

  2. Disable Remote Access on your device

  3. Since it is port 80 vulnerability, use a different non using private IP number to start using HTTP traffic.

  4. Use port forwarding to continue get the HTTP traffic, by using a non using Private IP address and forward port 80 to it.

  5. By blocking access to your router via external ports, Your router is safe
