Pharmacist in Kerala Government Insurance Medical Services Recruitment

We know Pharmacist ( druggists) plays an important role in Public Health Care and currently there are many Pharmacist vacancies are reported in Kerala Health Department. As the part of the process to fill the vacancies, Kerala Public Service Commission has announced recruitment to the Pharmacist post in Insurance Medical Services Department. Comparing with private sector jobs, serving in Government service has its own benefits. At present the recruitment is conducted for those who passed Nurse- Cum- Pharmacist Training Course (Homoeopathy) conducted by the Government of Kerala or its equivalent. The age limit for applying to Pharmacist post in Kerala Government Insurance Medical Services is 18 to 36. If you belong to OBC category, you will get three years relaxation in upper age limit. For SC/ST category candidates the upper age relaxation is 5 years. It is a district wise direct recruitment and currently, one post is reported from Ernakulam and Thrissur district. Educational Qualifications :

The educational qualification to apply for Pharmacist(Homoeopathy) in Kerala Insurance Medical Services department is:
1. SSLC / equivalent
2. Certificate obtained after successful completion of Nurse- Cum- Pharmacist Training
  Course (Homoeopathy) conducted by the Government of Kerala or its equivalent.
Age Limit
1. General category candidates must be born in between n 02.01.1980 and 01.01.1998(both dates included)
2. SC/ST have 5 years relaxation on upper age limit
3. OBC category candidates have 3 years relaxation on upper age limit

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

There will be an OMR based examination based on the subject knowledge and the detailed syllabus for Pharmacist examination in Kerala Government Insurance Medical Services Department will be updated soon.
