Atom N470 processor From Intel with 1.83GHz Speed - Faster Atom Processors

Intel Introduce Faster Atom processor for netbooks with more energy efficiency compared to other processors by its special architecture. The processor code is N470 with higher speed of 1.83GHz compared to the processor speed of 1.66GHz of current Atom N450. By comparing the two popular processors from Intel family , Core 2 series and Atom series we can see the differences. Core 2 is always looking for performance and Atom on the other hand more energy efficient by compromising the efficiency. Now by the introduction of high speed Atom processor N470 , Intel shows its plan to promote this singe core processor too in the series of high speed single core processors. But the energy consumption of Atom N470 is very less compared to the energy consumption of Core 2 series processors. But I am sure Intel will not introduce high speed Atom processors which can match the speed of core 2 series processors. It is because Intel cannot let the sales of core 2 processors down due to this Atom processors. Still no idea about the actual price of Atom N470 and I am waiting for that.

Where to read Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger Log Files

Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger is a built in debugger program in Windows and is used to collect information regarding software errors or bugs in your computer. It keeps a log file which stores all software errors happen in your computer and send it to Microsoft. Log file crated by Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger records all kinds of software errors that occur in your computer. To read this log file you may navigate to following location in your computer.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson


Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger Log File is saved in the name drwtsn32 and can open in a notepad. This log file contains Application exception occurred , System Information , Task List etc

We can change the log file path of Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger by accessing the Dr Watson window. To access Dr Watson Window follow the steps below.


1. Click Start,and go to Run.

2. Type drwtsn32 on Run and press OK.

How to Remove saved Passwords in Mozilla Firefox Browser 3.5 and above

In the older versions of Firefox browser(Firefox version 3 and below) we were able to remove the saved passwords from the Tools menu itself. After the release of Firefox 3.5 and above versions we need to remove the saved passwords by some manual works. Here are the steps to Delete /remove already saved user names and passwords in Firefox 3.5 and above versions.

Steps to Remove Saved passwords in Firefox 3.5 and above

1. Start Mozilla Firefox

2. Click on Tools in Tool menu



3. Click on options

Now Firefox options window will appear.

4. Click on Security tab



5. Click on Saved Passwords button





Now you can select the saved passwords in Firefox from the saved passwords list and click on Remove. If you like to remove all saved passwords in the list just click on the Remove All button.

After this click on Close button to close this window.

Microsoft Cursor Engine error '80040e21 - What is the reason for this error

Today while submitting my details to an online registration form (beta version by my friend)I received the following error message "Microsoft Cursor Engine error '80040e21' Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value. /links.asp, line 564 ".


I had no clue about what is this error and why it is keep occurring on the same form. So I decide to have search on this error message and found the following details of this error message. By reading technical discussions about this "Microsoft Cursor Engine error" it is a data base error. I have listed the results of the search. (All the details below are from various online communities and I myself is not a programmer).

The error message Microsoft Cursor Engine error '80040e21' occur when some one trying to put a long string into a VARCHAR field . For example if I am trying to enter a data of 100 characters in to a VARCHAR field with 50 character length this error may occur.

Google Buzz - Review

Google Buzz is a great social network product from google but it caused my gmail temporarily blocked in my company. According to our company policy we are allowed to use gmail but social networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, Twitter etc are blocked. Now because of the Buzz integration with gmail company black listed gmail too. We hope it will be revoked soon.Here I would like to share my ideas about google buzz too.

At first look google buzz functions exactly like Twitter. Like Twitter ,google buzz too have the options follow ,unfollow ,get updates etc.



Google buzz allows to make a post which is available to our followers.
After publishing this post it will be available to our followers as in Twitter.The list of followers and people I am following is listed in Google Buzz.

Enable /Disable Spell Check in Firefox - Use Automatic Spell Checker

Mozilla Firefox has a default spell checker which will check the spelling of words that you enter in text boxes automatically. To enable or disable the automatic spell checker in Firefox browser follow the steps below.

1. Start Firefox browser

2. Click on Tools in browser tools menu


3. Now Firefox options window will appear

4. Click on Advanced tab and select General

In general window you can see a check box which says "Check my spelling as I type".


To disable automatic spell checker in Firefox you should uncheck that option.

5. Click OK

What is the normal Internet speed using CDMA Technology

Yesterday one of my friend asked the question " What is the normal Internet speed using CDMA technology?". He was actually confused with different terms like GSM ,CDMA ,HSIA etc.

The Internet speed offered by the original CDMA technology is very low as 14.4 kbps. This is the maximum Internet speed offered by single channel CDMA standard. In extended form ,that is eight channel form it offers up to 115 kbps. But for Internet usage we are using some variations of CDMA standard like CDMA2000.


Internet speed of CDMA2000 is much faster compared to traditional CDMA technology.Here theoretically we can have maximum 2 Mbps. So the speed of CDMA2000 can match the browsing requirements of todays average Internet users. CDMA2000 includes two sets of standards. They are:

1. CDMA2000 1X

2. CDMA2000 EVDO.

The expansion od EVdo is Evolution-Data Optimized.


So in a nutshell the Internet speed by different CDMA standards:

Internet speed by CDMA standard: 14.4 kbps to 115 kbps

Internet speed by CDMA2000 standard: 144 kbps to 2 mbps

Private browsing cannot make us anonymous. Still our IP address ,MAC address ,system configuration details etc are accessible by the owner of the website in which we logged in. If there any other tracking software installed on your computer ,private browsing will fail to fulfill its duty. Take the full web page screenshot by google Chrome

Today I came through one interesting pluggin for google Chrome browser. Name of the pluggin is "Web Page Screenshot ". It is a google chrome extension and won't work in any other browser.

Today I saw one interesting but painful information in cnet news. The news is that FBI want all ISPs to keep a record of their customer's online activities. ISPs are bound to keep this customer online activities record for two years. Customer online activities includes the websites he or she visits,her activities on the websites including the pages they visits etc. They have their own reasons to ask these details as their primary goal is to stop threats to the country but the new demand is not going to be so smooth. In the cnet news they added the responses of major ISP,s. They are negative to the new demand.


"We're not set up to keep URL information anywhere in the network," said Drew Arena, Verizon's vice president and he added the following statement "if you were do to deep packet inspection to see all the URLs, you would arguably violate the Wiretap Act."

Any way it is clearly shows how goverments of various countries want to monitor their people. If any one ask for their privacy they know how to answer it by adding national security to it.

Google stops support for Internet Explorer 6.0 and Other older browsers

At last google decide to stop support for older web browsers which don't have any further support from their manufacturers. So due to this new decision google will not support following products.


* Internet Explorer 6.0 and below

* All Firefox versions below Firefox 3.0

* All Google Chrome versions below Google Chrome 4.0

* All Safari versions below Safari 3.0



Now onwards Google Mail and Google Calendar will not support above mentioned browsers. Google also anounce they have further improvements in web technology by adding new technology like HTML5 and faster JavaScript processing for their products.
