How To Secure Posts, Photos, and Videos On a Blogger Blog?

Updated by: Alex George on May 06, 2025

As my regular readers know, CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions started its operation by releasing custom Blogger themes for professional users.

To date, we have released more than 400 custom Blogspot templates. We also provide technical support for our users.

One of the frequent questions I ever faced was how secure a Blogspot blog on Google's servers was.

It is a valid question.

Have you ever worried about the safety of your Blogger blog? I understand that readers from a nontechnical background may get confused. Let me rephrase the question in simple terms.

How Secure is a Blogspot Blog Content?

Do you think Google may delete your Blogspot blog from their server without informing you? The general rule is simple.

If you write your blog with the right spirit, it is safe on Google's servers.

But will Google remove a Blogspot blog automatically? The answer is yes. Google will delete a blog from its server if it flags a blog as spam.

So theoretically, every helpful blog is safe with Google. However, I recommend you back up the blog to ensure it is 100 percent secure.

Though Google (Google owns Blogger) is reliable, it does not guarantee 100 percent safety for your content and hard work.

So I highly recommend taking backups often to counter any unexpected deletion of blogs from their server.

Blogger has a feature to export the blog saved on their server. We can use this feature to take a backup.

How To Backup a Blogspot Blog Using Blogger Export Feature?

So, I suggest my readers back up the Blogger blog content regularly. I will explain the steps here.

The first step is logging into your Blogger account. Then, click the Settings tab.

Scroll down the window. You will find the Backup content link under the Manage blog heading.

I suggest you have a close look at the screenshot I shared. I highlighted the link in the picture.

Anil Prakash, a reader of CoreNetworkZ, asked whether Blogger allows users to download the photos published. The answer is yes. Let me explain how.

The best part of the feature is that Blogger allows users to download the video and media files alone. I suggest you look at the screenshot again.

Can you see the links 'Videos from your blog' and 'Media from your blog'? Click those links to download the video and photo published on your blog.

So, let me conclude today's article. I explained the steps to back up your blog hosted on the Blogger server. If you have doubts or feedback, I suggest you leave them in the comment section.
