HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) Recruitment 2025

Regular readers of CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions know that I attended an apprenticeship program with an Internet Service Provider during my Engineering studies.

It helped me develop technical skills. So, I recommend all fresh engineering graduates join similar programs.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) offers an apprenticeship program for fresh Engineering graduates. If you are a B.Tech or B.E. passout and below 25 years, I strongly suggest you apply for it.

It is a one-year program designed to develop the industrial skills of fresh Engineers.

I will answer some questions B.Tech Graduates asked CoreNetworkZ here.

Jinson Abraham asked, "What is the minimum qualification required to apply for an apprenticeship in HPCL?"

Jinson completed his Engineering in Electronics and Communication last year.

Any Indian citizen between 18 and 25 years old who has graduated with an engineering degree in the following courses can apply.

1. Civil Engineering

2. Mechanical

3. Electrical

4. Electrical & Electronics

5. Electronics & Telecommunication

6. Instrumentation

7. Computer Science

8. IT

SC/ST candidates will get a 5-year upper age relaxation. The upper age limit to apply for the Graduate Apprentices (Engineering) in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is 28.

Shalini Agarwal, an engineering graduate from Delhi, asked, "I have completed a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I aspire to work for a government public sector company to gain experience. Can you help me?"

I received a few questions regarding the selection process. Some of them are:

Chandini Nair, an IT professional working in TCS for two years, asked, "I passed out B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering two years ago. Now, I have been working for almost two years. Can I apply for it?"

Rajith Gowda asked, "Hello Alex, I applied as you suggested. Can you share the expected questions asked in the selection examination? What questions does the HPCL Interview board usually ask to the candidates?"

Now I will answer their questions. Chandini cannot apply for the HPCL Apprentice post because anyone with one year or more of work experience is not allowed.

The management will call candidates with more than 60% marks in Engineering for direct interviews. After the interview, there will be a medical test.
