Cut Off Mark for Assistant Station Master in Mumbai RRB 2016

If you are looking for your chances to get selected by RRB for the posts you have applied, you must score the least marks used as the cut off by the regional RRB. For Assistant Station Master in Mumbai RRB, the cut off mark is 68.73. For OBC the cutoff mark is 66.51.

NOTICE CEN.No.03/2015 Non Technical Vacancies 2016

RRB has announced notice CEN.No.03/2015 for openings in non technical posts for group C services in Indian Railway on 26.12.2015 and you can apply through any one of the RRBs by following the registration link. You can apply for the posts till 25.01.2016 midnight by following the New Registration link. The application fee is 100RS but certain categories are exempted from the fee including minorities. You have the option to pay either online or offline. Different RRBs have different number of vacancies and there is no restriction to choose the desired RRB.

  2. Traffic Apprentice (TA)

  3. Assistant Station Master (ASM)

  4. Enquiry-cum-Reservation Clerk (ECRC)

  5. Goods Guard

  6. Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist (JAA)

  7. Senior Clerk-cum-Typist

  8. Traffic Assistant

  9. Senior Time Keeper

Though these posts have vacancies, you must know that not every post have a vacancy in every RRBs. The pay scale of each post may have a difference. For example, Commercial Apprentice and Assistant Station Master have different pay scales.

Railway Recruitment Board Exam RRB NTPC 2016 Expected Cut Off Marks

Though we were expecting the exam results of CEN 03/2015 by July 2016, it is delayed without any explanation from RRB. Since different exams were conducted for different Regions, there must be different cut off marks for each division. How To Apply For Railway Non-Technical Posts

RRB 2016 Exam Syllabus and Mark Distribution

This section is for serious candidates who are looking for the syllabus and mark distribution from each module. The entire syllabus is divided into four categories. They are

  1. General Knowledge
  2. Arithmetic Ability
  3. General Intelligence
  4. General Science

There will be 100 questions in the exam having 90 minutes duration. You can expect 20 questions from General Knowledge and 25 questions from Arithmetic Ability. General Intelligence will have 25 questions and remaining 30 marks from General Science. It is important to note that every wrong answer will cost 1/3 rd mark. 

Last Date of Apply

The last date of registering for RRB CEN 03/2015 has been concluded 25th January, 2016. If you didn't download the admit card, you need to wait for another chance provided by Railway Recruitment Board because that link is removed already.

Anticipated Exam Date

According to Railway notification, you may expect the RRB CEN 03/2015 exam by March/April but other sources say, it may be extended to May. Anyway, you have only limited weeks to complete the syllabus.

Best Study Strategy For RRB Exams

If you are seriously preparing for Railway exams, you must focus strictly on the syllabus provided by Indian Railway Recruitment board. You must understand the mark distribution and make a time table to cover the topics according to the mark weightage.
