ISRO VSSC Technical Assistant Recruitment 2025

Today's post is about a webinar conducted by CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions with GJR Institute about the latest Technical Assistant Recruitment by ISRO.

My regular readers know that GJR Institute, a client of CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions, is a leading Government Jobs exam coaching center.

Yesterday, they conducted a webinar attended by more than two hundred ISRO job aspirants (from across the country). The webinar explained the previous year's questions and tips to pass the written test.

Let me share the questions asked by the job aspirants and the answers provided by the senior faculty from the GJR Coaching Center.

The Minimum Eligibility to Apply For an ISRO Technical Assistant Post

The first section covered the basic eligibility to apply for the Technical Assistant vacancies reported by ISRO at VSSC.

Students who attended the webinar enquired about the basic educational qualifications, age limit, physical fitness requirements, and other relevant details.

I will quote a few questions.

Atul Krishna from Uduppi asked, "Who can apply for the Technical Assistant vacancies at VSSC?"

Ashwin Shukla, a Computer Science and Engineering diploma holder from Delhi, asked, "What is the age limit for applying for this vacancy? "

Suresh Lal Malhotra, senior tutor at GJR Coaching Center, answered, "Any Indian citizen between 18 and 35 years old with a first-class diploma in the following streams can apply."

  3. Computer Science

  4. Chemical Engineering

  5. Automobile

  6. Civil

Selection Process of a Technical Assistant at ISRO

Dimble Jacob from Cochin asked, 'Hello, Sir, can you explain the entire process for selecting a Technical Assistant?"

The selection process has two stages. They are:

  1. Written Test:

    The written test will have 80 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 0.33 marks. The duration of the Technical Assistant written test is 90 minutes.

  2. Skill Test:

    The Skill Test is qualifying in nature.

The selection process of ISRO Technical Assistant

Those who passed the written examination and skill test can expect a call from the Indian Space Research Organisation for Document Verification & Medical Examination.

How To Apply?

Some students asked how to apply for the Technical Assistant post in ISRO and VSSC. The senior faculty from the GJR Coaching Center pointed them to the following page.

Then, select job notification from the list. Follow the instructions to apply.

Promotion Chances and Salary

Some students asked about the ISRO Technical Assistant promotion chances and the monthly salary.

Praveen Agarwal from Gurugram asked, "I am preparing for the ISRO Technical Assistant post. I have a diploma in electronics. My question is about the chances of getting a promotion after I join the service."

Dimble Jacob asked, "Can you tell me the monthly salary an ISRO Technical Assistant will get?"

The monthly salary is 78,000 Indian Rupees.

Suresh Lal Malhotra, senior tutor at GJR Coaching Center, answered, "The first promotion is to the post of Senior Assistant. The second promotion is to the post of an Assistant Engineer."

Job Profile and Work Atmosphere

Some students asked about the nature of the job. George Tharakan asked, "I have a Computer Science and Engineering diploma. I want to know what type of job ISRO will ask me to do after joining as a Technical Assistant."

According to the senior tutor, a computer science diploma holder may tasked with computer programming and network operations.
