Auto Configure Belkin F5D8233-4 Wireless N Router

F5D8233-4 is a wireless router from Belkin, based on wireless N technology. Wireless N is faster than other three wireless standards (IEEE2802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g) but slower than 802.11ac. It supports the 802.11n wireless standard. Here let us check how to configure F5D8233-4 Belkin N WiFi Router using the setup disc. The below image shows how this device looks like.   1. Connect the LAN port  to the Ethernet Port of your computer

  2. Connect the Modem to the WAN port of F5D8233-4

    Make sure that all devices are powered on now. First power on the modem and wait for 30 seconds and then power on the router. Check the diagram below to better understand the connection.

  3. Run the setup CD on your computer

    Now a setup wizard will come and click GO to run the wizard.

  4. You need to confirm the operation and to do this click next.

  5. Now the Wizard will check the network settings and hardware settings.

  6. Enter the Wireless Network Name

    In this step, we need to type the name of the wireless network.

  7. Enter the Internet connection Username and Password

    If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) gave you a username and password, you can enter it here.

  8. Check Internet connectivity

    After entering the Internet connection details it will check the connectivity.

  9. Finish the setup

    After successfully connected to the Internet your configuration wizard will end.
