Unable to find Wireless Networks in Range -basic troubleshooting steps
I assume that you have disabled the Firewalls on your computer and restarted the WZC(Wireless Zero Configuration) on your computer. The remaining troubleshooting steps are:
1. Unplug and reconnect the Wireless Adapter (USB adapter)
If you are using USB wireless Adapter you should unplugg the adapter from your computer and reconnect it after 30 seconds. This might bring back the connection to the available Wireless network. Make sure that the LED on wireless adapter is on.
2. Check the presence of any Interference
There is a chance that the place you are sitting is a hub of Wireless Interference. There is a chance that some one is using wireless Phone or any other devices which sends signal having the same frequency of the Wireless Access Point.
3. Restart you computer
Some times after restarting your computer the missing wireless network will come back to your view available wireless network list.
4. Update the driver of the Adapter installed on your computer
The next solution for the issue is update the adapter driver on your computer. This will definitely fix the issue.
