Configure Wireless In Netopia 3347 Wi-Fi Router - Enable Security

Steps to configure wireless settings in Netopia WiFi router are:


1. Log on to Netopia Wireless Router

Type telnet 192.168.1.1 on Run Command and press OK.



From the menu select System Configuration.

2. Select Wireless Configuration from Netopia System Configuration


3. Wireless LAN Configuration in Netopia Router

You should make sure that Wireless is enabled. SSID is the Wireless network name (Eg: corenetworkz ) and it should be up to 32 characters. If you need to enable Wireless security in Netopia Router, Enable WEP should be ON.



4. Enable Wireless Security (WEP) in Netopia

If you enable WEP, you should create a wireless key for your wireless network.



After finishing this step, you should restart your wireless router. If you are facing issues with going online after installing router on your network, follow the steps below.
